We launched our Ugly Furnace Contest knowing there were some seriously tired heating systems out there in need of replacement. Picking just two winners was harder than we expected, but getting to help Michelle and Alex made the whole thing worthwhile.
Meet Michelle
When we called Michelle to tell her she’d won, she was thrilled…and a bit shocked. She actually thought it was a prank!
Her furnace had seen better days. Replacing it was something she hoped for but didn’t expect anytime soon, and definitely not for free.
Now she’s got a new, efficient heating system installed and ready to keep her home warm all winter. No more crossing your fingers every time the temperature drops.
Meet Alex
Alex’s furnace was well past its prime. You could hear it struggling every time it kicked on. When our Service Expert, Aiden, showed up to install the new system, even Alex’s dog seemed to know something good was happening. He posed proudly next to Aiden like he was part of the crew.
Seeing Alex’s gratitude when we got everything up and running reinforced what we already knew: people in our community need heating companies that will go above and beyond for them.

We fix and install furnaces every day. It’s what we’re good at, and honestly, we love the work. But we’re also your neighbors. We live here, our kids go to school here, and when we can help families who really need it, we’re going to show up.
This contest gave us the chance to take care of two families who genuinely needed new systems but couldn’t make it happen on their own. Seeing the relief on someone’s face when their heating worries disappear? That’s what keeps us doing this work year after year.
